Implemented since 2010 in Indonesia, PT.Prova has diversified activities into making flavors for the Tobacco Industry (Kretek, shisha…).

For our new factory in Surabaya, we are looking for a flavor laboratory technician, who will be in charge of making samples for the customers.

Flavor Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

Assist the Flavorist and the production manager in preparing sample formulations. 

Maintain all of the solutions within the applications laboratory, to include, samples and raw materials.

Maintain standard solution percentages, as well as accurate measuring and weighing of the solutions.

Maintain organization while preparing products as well as account for all raw materials in all formulations.

Record all product development results/ data in lab notebook

Order lab supplies, maintain an active inventory of materials for flavors. 

Maintain general order and cleanliness within the lab (glass washing, organization of bottles/ containers. 

Participate and comply with the company safety rules, regulations and procedures

Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by flavorist

Required skills:

Must have a minimum of a Diploma degree in Food Science or related discipline (chemistry, analytical chemistry, biology)

Female Max.30 Year

New graduated accepted

Have a real interest for Flavors, flavor applications, savory products, Formulations, flavor raw materials, sensory (olfaction).

Excellent mathematics skills; Must be able to perform basic math calculations; conversions, weight calculations, dilutions 

Must have strict attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills

Fluent in English (both written and oral)

Able to work with MS Word/Excel

Able to be located in SURABAYA
